In a historical milestone for Indian Navy, LCA Navy made its maiden landing on INS Vikrant on Feb 06. It demonstrated India’s capability to design, develop, construct & operate Indigenous Aircraft Carrier. Aircraft carrier INS Vikrant was recently commissioned into the Navy operating the MiG 29K on board. The naval version of the LCA Tejas landed for the first time on aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya. The Navy is looking to develop a twin-engine carrier-based fighter to field in the 2030s. With two more powerful, GE F-414 engines, the TED-BF will be a bigger and more heavily armed fighter
