Bizarre! Frog wedding organised in Varanasi to appease rain god

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Jun 23 (ANI): In a bizarre ritual, locals arranged a marriage ceremony of two frogs in Varanasi. The marriage ceremony was organised to please the rain god for better monsoon and rains in the coming months. According to the mythology, getting wild frogs married in a ritual similar to human beings can bring heavy rainfall in coming days. The ritual is followed in several states of the country.
