New Delhi, Jan 20 (ANI): The political debate over Prime Minister candidature does not seem to be over as the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress are trading barbs over the issue. The issue was highlighted more after Prime Minister Narendra Modi questioned the Opposition over the issue. Congress National Spokesperson PL Punia gave a sharp reply and said, “BJP is afraid with the unity of opposition parties. BJP has made double the number of alliances in different states than the political parties seen together in Mamata’s rally yesterday. As far as PM candidate is concerned, is the post vacant today? This issue will be addressed after election. A democracy should follow procedures. Everyone is eligible to be the PM. They(BJP)can see unity of opposition parties, so they're giving such statements.”
