Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 22 (ANI): An ally of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), both at the centre and in Uttar Pradesh government, Apna Dal (S) on Thursday threatened to quit the NDA alliance over issues pertaining to the state unit of the BJP still not being resolved. Apna Dal chief Anupriya Patel said her party had given a deadline of Feb 20 to the BJP to resolve outstanding matter but no solution was provided for the same by the latter. “BJP ke saath hamein kuch samasyaein aayi aur usko humne sheersh netritiva ke saamne rakha bhi aur 20 February tak humne unhe samay diya ki in samasyaon ka samadhaan kare. Lekin unhone inn samasyaon ka samadhaan nahi kiya,” Anupriya told media in Bareilly. Now Apna Dal has convened a party meeting on Feb 28 to decide on the future course as Anupriya asserted that her party is now “independent” to choose its own path.
