BJP to go solo in Maharashtra, will sweep next assembly polls on its own: JP Nadda

Updated:1 month, 2 weeks ago

Mumbai, Feb 16 (ANI): Leaving past the bitter memories post the Assembly elections in Maharashtra where the Shiv Sena ditched the BJP to forge alliance with Congress and NCP, BJP president JP Nadda said the party has to ensure that it doesn’t need to forge an alliance with anyone in Maharashtra in the future, adding that he can see the party winning the next assembly polls in the state. “We have to ensure that we do not need to forge an alliance with anyone in the future (in Maharashtra). It will be BJP versus other parties in the next polls. I can see that BJP will sweep the next election in the state,” Nadda said in Mumbai where he addressed party workers.
