BJP holds protest against killing of party workers in WB

Siliguri/Kolkata (WB), Jun 02 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers, on Saturday, staged protest against alleged killing of two of their party workers in West Bengal’s Purulia. The protestors blocked roads and burnt effigy of WB Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Protests were rampant in various cities of the state including Siliguri and Kolkata. The protestors demanded arrest and death penalty for the accused. BJP workers have alleged that TMC workers are behind the murders. The BJP worker, Dulal Kumar was found hanging from a pole in Balarampur of Purulia district on Saturday. Earlier on Wednesday, a body of a 20-year-old BJP activist Trilochan Mahato was found hanging from a tree in the same district.
