Chandigarh (Punjab), Sep 17 (ANI): Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala on Monday reacted on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Godda MP Nishikant Dubey’s feet wash incident. Terming the incident as inhumane, the congress leader lambasted BJP leaders by saying that they want a God like status for themselves. “Self professing God like status for themselves is now out in the open,” said Surjewala. “BJP’s leader Nishikant Dubey who is Prime Minister’s favorite is justifying washing off his feet. The BJP worker drinking that water is even more appalling as he compares himself to Lord Krishna, reflects that BJP believes that they have achieved a God like status,” added Surjewala. On September 16, a BJP worker washed the feet of Godda MP Nishikant Dubey. He later drank the water with which his feet were washed. The incident took place at an event in Jharkhand’s Godda.
