BJP spreads ‘message of harmony’ through its 5,000 kilos of khichdi in Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 06 (ANI): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is spreading message of harmony and ‘unity in diversity’ by cooking 5,000 kilos of khichdi at its Dalit rally in Delhi on Sunday. Union Minister of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Thawarchand Gehlot said, “This Khichdi has been made with different ingredients which will create such an environment that will spread the message of harmony. We have been conducting such events since the days of Jan Sangh. This event is inspirational from the point of view that all sections of society have participated in it.” Relishing the khichdi, Union Minister of Environment Dr Harsh Vardhan said, “Through practically representing our message of ‘unity and diversity’, this is an answer to all those who want to break the nation on the basis of cast, etc. Aiming to create a world record, the dish is cooked with rice and lentils collected from Dalit households at Ramlila Maidan. It is being distributed among the party workers and supporters at ‘Bhim Mahasangam Vijay Sankal’ rally under the leadership of BJP president Amit Shah.
