BJP will not let Assam become Kashmir: Amit Shah

Lakhimpur (Assam), Feb 17 (ANI): While addressing a gathering during a youth convention in Assam’s Lakhimpur district, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah said that the BJP will not let Assam become like Kashmir. He said after BJP government came in Assam, we brought National Register of Citizens (NRC) and also stopped the intruders from entering the state. “Even if we need to do NRC time and again we will do it and throw out each and every intruders out of the state.” Speaking on the Citizenship Amendment Bill, Shah said that the way demographic change is taking place in Assam, if we don’t bring the bill then the residents of Assam will be in danger and even though the residents understand it, many are trying to oppose it.
