Brother-in-law of Indian killed in Iraq acknowledges Government's efforts, says Government tried a lot

Jalandhar (Punjab), Mar 20 (ANI): The Government is in the line of fire after it today confirmed the deaths of 39 Indians kidnapped in 2014 by ISIS in Iraq. The kin of the deceased slammed the government for not informing them about the deaths sooner. However, one amongst them also acknowledged Government's efforts; brother-in-law of Davinder Singh who was also killed in Iraq thanked the government in extending its support. He said, "The government tried a lot. They helped us a lot." Earlier in the day, the Union External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj confirmed that 39 Indians, who went missing in Mosul in Iraq in the year 2014, have been killed.
