Agra (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 18 (ANI): After the Centre has come up with a 100 year plan to protect Taj Mahal, the plan received mixed reaction from the public. One of the residents said, “Leave alone 100 years plan I don’t think that the government would even be able to make the plan for the next 10 years. This is because the government does nothing other than doing meetings. To preserve the monument more we need to implement on some basic aspects.” Munabbar Ali, President, Rashtriya Smarak Suraksha Samiti said, “What was decided by the government is commendable. It is good that the government has a far flung thinking. This is not only government’s responsibility but also the duty of the residents to support government.” The Supreme Court rapped the Centre and Uttar Pradesh Government over the protection of the Taj Mahal and said, "either we will shut down the Taj or you demolish or restore it."
