CM Raje reviews various drinking water projects

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Jul 10 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje recently chaired the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) meeting to review the various schemes of the department. In the meeting CM Raje gave instructions to the officials to regularly monitor the drinking water projects and to ensure quality of construction works. She said that, “It is very necessary to provide clean drinking water in fluoride affected and water scarcity areas. It is in our priority to provide them relief.” In the meeting, Principal Secretary of Water Supply Department also gave presentation on the current status of Pokaran-Falsund-Balotra-Siwana project, second phase of Nagaur lift project and other drinking water projects including Chambal-Sawimadhapur-Nadauti and second phase of Chambal-Bhilwara Drinking Water Project. Execution of various budget announcements made by Chief Minister were also reviewed in the meeting.
