New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): Hours after the Election Commission of India was cornered by the Opposition in connection to Prime Minister Modi's alleged road show outside the polling booth, the former assured that the matter will be examined. After casting his ballot, PM Modi walked outside for five minutes and flashed the ink mark on his finger, which drew Congress' ire. Later, the Congress Party accused Election Commission of becoming a puppet in hands of BJP. Clearing air about the Prime Minister attending the launch of a submarine, Senior Deputy Election Commissioner Umesh Sinha said: "It is not under Model Code of Conduct (MCC) jurisdiction and no permission was also sought from the Commission." He also clarified that no FIR was lodged against Congress president-elect Rahul Gandhi for violating provisions of MCC.
