Congress, BJP protest inside Assembly over unemployment & farmer issues

Bhubaneswar (Odisha)/ Bengaluru (Karnataka), Feb 07 (ANI): State Legislative Assembly was adjourned in Odisha as leaders protested over unemployment and farmer issues on Thursday. Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders threatened to close the house in future as well if their demands did not meet. The government had promised jobs to 1 lakh unemployed students. During the polls, the government had also assured 36 percent irrigation for the farmers. However, no demands have been fulfilled by the government. Meanwhile, BJP MLAs protested in Karnataka Assembly alleging that the present state government is a minority government and it doesn’t have the required numbers. The Assembly has been adjourned till 11 am tomorrow after continued protests.
