Congress-JD(S) coalition fails floor test in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Jul 23 (ANI): The Congress-JD(S) government failed the floor test in Karnataka Assembly where the ruling coalition got only 99 votes against 105 of BJP in the 224-member house. The floor test was conducted by Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar after almost a week of continuous delay and intervention by Supreme Court which, in an order today, felt optimistic of the floor test taking place. BJP state chief BS Yeddyurappa along with party MLAs were seen showing victory sign after setback to Congress-JD(S).
