Conversed with locals to grasp Marwari dialect: Janhvi Kapoor on her debut film ‘Dhadak’

New Delhi, Jul 18 (ANI): ‘Dhadak’ costars Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter attended a promotional event of their upcoming film in New Delhi on Wednesday. Janhvi responding to how the actors managed to adapt the Marwari dialect for the film said, “We worked really hard. We recced in Rajasthan before the film and interacted with locals to grasp the dialect, they way they speak and react. Our director, who is also a Marwari, is very well versed with the dialect. He told us we are not making a regional film therefore the lines should be easy to understand.” The movie is an adaptation of the hit Marathi film ‘Sairat’, and the actors believe that the story is beautiful and relevant to the entire country. ‘Dhadak’ revolves around the story of innocent and dramatic love story between the protagonists and how they face hurdles in this love.
