Cop teaches students after duty in naxal prone Gurabanda

Jamshedpur (Jharkhand), May 04 (ANI): Naxal prone Gurabanda area of Jharkhand used to be education free until now when education has picked up after police took the initiative of educating students of the region. Pramod Paswan, Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) in East Singhbhum's Gudabanda, teaches Maths to school children every day after concluding his duty as a cop. He said, "Whatever knowledge we have, we try to give that to students as they lack in education. If the people of the area are educated the problem of naxalism will be wiped out." The area which was the hub of naxals, have now witnessed decrease in naxalism due to various initiatives. This has boosted emphasis on education.
