Dalai Lama meets youth leaders of conflict-affected countries in Dharamshala

Dharamshala (HP), Oct 25 (ANI): Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, met with youth leaders of conflict-torn countries in Dharamshala. Mentoring the youth, the Dalai Lama advocated the use of education to change people’s thinking and belief. He also expressed his profound admiration for the ancient Indian knowledge for its contribution toward the understanding of the human mind and the imbibing of its practices to tackle negative emotions. Around 28 youth peace builders from 14 different countries from across Africa, the Middle East and Asia took part in the annual conference. The two-day conversation was organised by an American institution tasked with promoting conflict resolution.
