Jalandhar (Punjab), Nov 04 (ANI): Amidst the deteriorating air condition in Delhi-NCR, farmers of Punjab continue to burn stubble. Farmers of Jalandhar said that they don’t have other option except burning the stubble to prepare the fields for next cultivation. Farmers urged the government to give them compensation of Rs 5,000 to 10,000 per acre or give them the permission to burn the stubble. Delhi's air quality remained very poor with five areas of the national capital recording severe pollution levels. Authorities are taking measures to curb the pollution.
