Deoria jail thrashing: I shouted, cried but nobody came to help, narrates property dealer

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 30 (ANI): Mohit Jaiswal, the property dealer who was allegedly kidnapped by former MP Atique Ahmed’s men and beaten up has filed an FIR against the latter. Speaking to ANI, Jaiswal, “The incident took place on December 26. I was taken to Deoria Jail forcefully from my office in Gomti Nagar. Former MP Atique Ahmed, his son and other 25-30 people were already present there. Atique Ahmed asked his men to beat me.” “I was asked to sign on some cheques, blank sheets and resignation letters of some companies. I was tied with rope and beaten in jail. I shouted for help, but nobody came to help me. I have filed an FIR,” narrated the property dealer. A Deoria based property dealer was kidnapped from his office in Gomti Nagar on December 26 allegedly by dreaded don Atique Ahmed’s men and taken to Deoria jail where they thrashed him. Atique Ahmed is former Member of Parliament from the Phulpur constituency in Uttar Pradesh.
