Devotees throng Ajmer shrine to mark death anniversary of Sufi saint

Ajmer (Rajasthan), Sep 21 (ANI): Hundreds of devotees thronged the chilla of Sufi saint Baba Farid in Rajasthan’s Ajmer to offer their prayers. Every year, scores of devotees are seen making their way to the city to offer prayers to Baba Farid at his Chilla, which opens only once a year on the occasion of Muharram. The shrine of Baba Farid is in Pakistan. Baba Farid was a Muslim preacher and mystic, who was believed to have spent 40 days in spiritual communion inside a Chilla situated inside Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin’s shrine in Ajmer.
