Diving team from Indian Navy leaves for rescue operation of miners trapped in Jaintia Hills

Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh), Dec 30 (ANI): A group of 11 divers from the Indian Navy left from Visakhapatnam to conduct rescue operation in Jaintia Hills. The divers left to Meghalaya with special equipments for the operation. 13 miners are trapped at a coal mine in East Jaintia Hills in Meghalaya since last two weeks. So far, none of the miners have been rescued despite several efforts.
