Exiled Tibetans in India mourn demise of Buddhist leader

Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh), Nov 25 (ANI): Tibetans who are living in exile in Himachal Pradesh’s Dharamshala have mourned the death of the seventh supreme head of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, Kathok Getse Rinpoche. Rinpoche passed away on November 19 following an accident. The spokesperson of the exiled Tibetans, Sonam Dagpo, said that the Tibetan population is mourning Rinpoche’s death and is wishing upon his speedy reincarnation. Rinpoche was recognised by the teachers of Tibetan Buddhism as the reincarnation of the third Kathok Getse five "Golden Throne" holders of the Katok Monastery lineage of Eastern Tibet.
