Farmers lock up stray cows in school buildings to protect crops in Aligarh

Aligarh (UP), Dec 27 (ANI): Aligarh farmers shut many cows in government-run schools saying that the animals were the reason for the destruction of their crops in the state. The incident resulted in havoc as the school students refused to enter the school. However, the authority assured strict action against the farmers. Earlier, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said the state government has allotted Rs 10 crore to each of the 16 municipal corporations to arrange shelter for stray cows.
