Farmers protest seeking PM Modi’s intervention in Mahadayi dispute

Bengaluru (Karnataka), Feb 04 (ANI): A group of farmers held a protest in Bengaluru against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in the state on Sunday. The farmers held posters of PM Modi that read slogans to draw his attention. Protestors gathered at the Freedom Park seeking PM's intervention in Mahadayi dispute. Protestors demanded PM Modi to break his silence on the issue during his address. Bharatiya Janata Party is launching its poll campaign with ‘Parivartan rally’ in a show of strength in Karnataka. PM Modi reached Bengaluru to address the rally which is being organised to mark culmination of 85-day-long pre-election campaign in all assembly constituencies. Heavy security has been deployed to avoid any unforeseen incident.
