New Delhi, Jan 16 (ANI): As Sheila Dikshit took charge as the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief, the presence of Jagdish Tytler, an accused in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots stoked a controversy. Jagdish Tytler getting the front row seat at the event sparked anger among the Sikh community. Tytler when asked about his opinion on Congress’ Sajjan Kumar’s conviction in the riot case said, “What can a man say when the Court has given a verdict. You also mention my name. Why? Is there an FIR? Is there a case? No? Then why do you take my name? Someone said that and you believed it.” Union Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal leader, Harsimrat Kaur said, “Today Tytler was spotted in Sheila Dikshit program shows that this Gandhi family is against the Sikh community. Court has said it, everyone knows that. Rahul Gandhi knows it very well but he is following his family member footstep.”
