Gujarat elections: Youngsters hold infotaining campaign to highlight BJP works

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Dec 11 (ANI): A group of youngsters in Ahmedabad has taken to a unique way of campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Gujarat Assembly elections. Members of the group wore huge placards on their backs advertising the achievements of the BJP government. The youngsters also danced in public places to the party's songs to attract the attention of passerby. The idea was proposed by Yogesh Prajapad, a dancer by profession. Speaking to ANI, Yogesh said, "With this campaign, we tell people about the development done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The songs and the boards advertise various works done by the BJP government." The entertaining and informative campaign was started 20 days back and has received good response so far. The second phase of the election will be held on December 14, and the counting of votes will be done on December 18.
