Here’s what euthanasia seekers have to say about SC’s verdict

Kanpur (UP)/ Mumbai, Mar 09 (ANI): After Supreme Court passed passive euthanasia judgment in the country, the seekers have mixed reaction on it. The Anamika Mishra, a euthanasia seeker, who is suffering from Muscular Dystrophy Disease welcomed the court’s verdict. Anamika’s mother wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where she sought mercy killing for her daughter, who was suffering from Muscular Dystrophy Disease. Where on the other hand an ederly couple, who also appealed to the President to be given permission for euthanasia are not satisfied with the decision and said that people above the age of 75 should be given this right. In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court Friday passed an order allowing passive euthanasia in the country.
