Pune (Maharashtra), Feb 20 (ANI): Reacting to BJP chief Amit Shah’s prediction that the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance would win 45 out of the 48 parliamentary seats from Maharashtra in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, NCP chief Sharad Pawar mocked the former by saying that he should have said 48 seats as there are that much seats in Maharashtra. He (Amit Shah) should have said 48 seats instead of 45 seats as there are 48 seats in Maharashtra,” Pawar told media in Pune. Pawar also questioned the BJP-Shiv Sena by saying that until few days ago, both the parties were fighting and now they are spreading the “message of unity”; the people of Maharashtra can understand their game, and will react accordingly at the time of elections. “There was an atmosphere in last few months where there was heated exchange of words b/w them. Today they're standing together, wanting to send message of unity. People of Maharashtra can understand their strategy. They'll think and take step,” Pawar said.
