New Delhi, Dec 21 (ANI): Union Minister of Law and justice Ravi Shankar Prasad on MHA order allowing 10 agencies to monitor any computer resource said that it has been done under the law made by the Manmohan Singh government in 2009. Ravi Shankar Prasad said, “This has been done in national security interest. It has been done under the law made by the Manmohan Singh government in 2009. Each case of interception and the decision is to be approved Union Home Secretary.” The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday issued an order authorising ten security and intelligence agencies of the country to access any information stored in any computer for the purpose of monitoring, decrypting and interception.
