Jammu and Kashmir police organises 5-day tour via air for students of Udhampur

Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), Aug 29 (ANI): In a first of its kind, Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir) police of Udhampur organised a five-day tour of major North Indian cities for school children of Udhampur district via air. A total of 50 students from far flung areas of Udhampur were selected for this tour named 'Bharat Darshan'. The tour is being undertaken in pursuance of the objectives of Civic Action Plan (CAP) by the Jammu and Kashmir Police aiming to fight against drugs, introduce the students to the developments in the field of modern education standards, rich cultural heritage, current developments, quality of life and places of historical interest and drive a zest in them for development of their own areas and achieve similar environment. During the tour the students will be visiting the places of educational and historical importance. The tour was flagged off from Distrct Police line (DPL) Udhampur by IPS Rayees Mohammad Bhat. This is an effort by Jammu and Kashmir police to hone the confidence and exposure of their skilled, talented students so that they are able to compete and face the challenges of future. Students hailed the efforts of Jammu and Kashmir police to organise the tour via AIR. They added that in the books they read about historic monuments, but Jammu and Kashmir police have provided them the opportunity to visit those sites.
