Justice Krishna Murari sworn-in as Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court

Chandigarh, Jun 02 (ANI): Allahabad High Court Justice Krishna Murari was sworn-in as the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court on Saturday. The Supreme Court collegium recommended Justice Krishna Murari’s name for the post in April. Since 2004, Justice Murari has been serving as a judge of the Allahabad High Court when he was made an additional judge of the Court in 2004. He then became a permanent judge in August 2005. Justice Murari has replaced acting Chief Justice AK Mittal who was appointed to the post on the midnight of May 3 after the retirement of the then Chief Justice SJ Vazfidar.
