Vijayawada (AP), Dec 31 (ANI): Come 2019, Kanaka Durga Temple or Indrakeeladri Temple in Vijayawada will see visitors donning uniforms. The temple authority has decided to implement a traditional dress code for devotees from January 1, 2019. “Everybody has to follow this norm… Ladies have to wear sarees, Punjabis and traditional dress like lehenga,” said Koteswaramma, Executive Officer, Indrakeeladri Temple. The Temple authority will also provide ‘sarees at counter’ to those female devotees who are not aware of the new norm, at Rs 100.
