Kashmiri youth gets prestigious Youth Icon Award for contribution to society

Srinagar, Feb 25 (ANI): A youth from Kashmir is making the valley proud by his efforts towards the society. Ehtisham Khan bagged Youth Icon Award for his contribution and participation in the field of sports, social work and representing the Nation (India) at different International platforms. The Association of People of Asia's Jammu and Kashmir chapter felicitated Ehtisham Khan with the prestigious award. Ehtisham hails from Srinagar's Batamaloo and he is pursuing his bachelor’s degree in engineering. He started his career in snow skiing and represented J&K, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh at the national level in snow skiing. Khan is also a bronze medalist in rock climbing, an ultra-marathon runner, a mountain biker and a founding member of the J&K Mountain Biking Association. The award was conferred in recognition of his contribution to society, sports and for representing India at different international platforms. APA aims to promote peace, create conditions for social betterment and communal harmony. Ehtisham Khan is pursuing a degree in Engineering from Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology.
