Kisan March: Law and order is under control, farmers will do their protest peacefully, says DCP Madhur Verma

New Delhi, Nov 30 (ANI): Farmers from across the country have gathered in the national capital to participate in Kisan March amid heavy security arrangements at Ramlila Maidan. DCP, New Delhi Madhur Verma said, “Delhi police had multiple rounds of talks with all the farmer leaders. After analysing everything in much detail, we have given them permission to commence their rally from Ramlila Maidan, which will be ending at Jantar Mantar. All the security arrangements have been properly made keeping in mind all the relevant factors related to this protest.” “Law and order is under control. We have deployed sufficient number of police force and senior officials on all the affected areas,” he added. Verma also shared, “Barricades, ropes, loudhailers will be used if required. We hope that farmers will do their March peacefully and will also consider all the conditions that they have accepted prior beginning this rally.” As per the current update, around 7000-8000 farmers have reached the Ramlila Maidan in national capital.
