Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 09 (ANI): Shia Central Waqf Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi has again stirred controversy by claiming that madarsas produce terrorists and not highly employed people as their education system is low and the maulvis are involved in business of taking funds. He said that madarsas profess mainly Islamic education which ends up children becoming maulvis or cheap workers and asks how many engineers or IAS officers. He suggested that it is the need of the hour to impart mainstream education to students of madarsas and to convert them into mainstream schools. Rizvi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister in this regard.
