New Delhi, Mar 26 (ANI): Ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi announced to roll out a monthly income guarantee scheme for poorest families, where he said that if Congress comes to power, poorest families will get Rs 12,000 per month. But soon after his announcement, he started getting backlashed from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and from NITI Aayog. On which, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said, “NITI Aayog is in BJP’s control. They’re like a caged parrot. We did what we said. We did NREGA, waived off farmers’ loan, brought compulsory education and also brought security schemes. We will do everything in future too. BJP has not fulfilled any promise.”
