New Delhi, Dec 28 (ANI): While speaking to ANI about 15 miners who were trapped in a coal mine in East Jaintia Hills of Meghalaya for over 2 weeks, Congress leader Vincent H Pala said, “I am very sure most people have died. I came to know from local people that there is no chance of people there. Those who survive, they ran away since the mining was illegal. Earlier the Central government did not take the matter seriously. The didn't send the pumps in time. I hope with the new pumps coming they will be able to pump water. It will take minimum 2-3 days then we will be able to retrieve the bodies.”
