Mosque in Palwal comes under NIA scanner for LeT links, residents deny claims

Palwal (Haryana), Oct 15 (ANI): A mosque in Palwal district’s Uttawar village of Haryana has come under scanner of National Investigative Agency (NIA) of being built by Hafiz Saeed-led terrorist outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba’s (LeT) funds. Khulafa-e-Rashideen mosque was probed by NIA earlier this month and three people were arrested. One of the arrested person used funds provided by Saeed’s Lahore based Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) affiliated NGO, according to NIA. However, a Muslim cleric denied the links with terror outfit. Ramesh Prajapati, village head claimed that the construction of the mosque is completely legitimate.
