Mushroom farming gets a boost with Integrated Development Mushroom Center in J&K

Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), Feb 02 (ANI): Farming has taken a new turn in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar where a new initiative aims at saving time and prevents infection from edible fungus along with increase in production. The Integrated Development Mushroom Center aims at increasing mushroom farming with multiple cropping. The centre provides automatic pasteurized compost. The production is done from local produce. With such initiatives, people can make their own dairy by buying compost from the centre. Mushroom cultivation is made easy and an indoor activity with natural compost. The compost is made by particular dry grass that is mixed with tested soil and used as special fertilizer to produce the quality mushroom crop.
