New Delhi, Sep 11 (ANI): After Delhi High Court’s rejection of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi’s plea seeking tax reassessment, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy termed it as his ‘victory’. Speaking on the issue, Swamy said, “It is based on my complaint so it is a victory for me. The fact of the matter is that they claimed falsely that they have created a company with Rs 5 lakhs, then how did they buy a company worth Rs 5,000 crore worth of property? So the Income Tax correctly cancelled the section 25 company status. So they were asked to pay tax on it.” The Delhi High Court rejected Congress president Rahul Gandhi and United Progressive Alliance (UPA) chairperson Sonia Gandhi's plea challenging the Income Tax (IT) notice seeking tax reassessment for the financial year 2011-2012.
