Dantewada (Chhattisgarh), Nov 17 (ANI): Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh has been the hub of red terror for years and has been witnessing a series of attacks that have been carried out by Naxal cadres. Recently, in the hilly town of Bacheli, Naxal cadres blew up a bus using Improvised Explosive Devices or IEDs, and killed four civilians and one CISF jawan. Two personnel of the CISF were also injured in the attack. The attack comes four days after the conclusion of first phase of polls in the state. It has angered the locals and has been condemned by one and all. The Naxals have been trying to create an atmosphere of terror during the ongoing assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. By carrying out attacks, they tend to scare away the voters from taking part in the elections. But it is evident, in the first phase of elections that they have been rejected completely by the citizens and hence these terror attacks are just attention-seeking methods used by the Naxals. The Naxal cadres still fail to understand that their ideology of violence has been rejected by the people before and is still being rejected.
