Hyderabad (Telangana), Dec 23 (ANI): After about 450 beggars were picked from the streets of Hyderabad on Thursday, a human-trafficking racket has come to the fore front. Deepak, a beggar, picked up and placed to Chanchalguda Anand Ashram, said that a person offered him a job in Hyderabad that would fetch him Rs. 200 per day for working in a saree shop which influenced his move to the city from Uttar Pradesh. However, on the second day the employer assigned him a wheelchair and propelled him to beg from morning to evening. The racket highlighted exploitation of physically handicapped as well as able-bodied people where the owners behind the racket have minted lakhs of rupees.
