No need to operate with BJP MLAs, have sufficient number: HD Kumaraswamy

Updated:1 month ago IST

Bengaluru, Jan 16 (ANI): Amid a political crisis in Karnataka government, Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that he need not go for operation with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAs as he has sufficient numbers with him. BJP has accused CM Kumaraswamy of attempting to poach on their lawmakers. Fearing poaching by Congress-JD(S), BJP shifted their 104 MLAs to a Gurugram resort. CM Kumaraswamy said, “It is not necessary for me to go for operation with BJP MLAs, sufficient number is with me. Why would I operate with BJP MLAs. Everything is under control.” Yesterday two independent MLAs, H Nagesh from Mulbagal and R Shankar from Ranebennur withdrew their support to the Congress-JD(S) coalition government.
