Officials take stock of under-construction medical college in Rajouri

Rajouri (Jammu & Kashmir), Dec 29 (ANI): Government officials today took stock of an under-construction medical college in the Rajouri district of Jammu & Kashmir. Being built with the cost of Rs 169 crore by the Public Works Department (PWD) of Rajouri, the upcoming government medical college will provide job opportunities to thousands of unemployed youth in Rajouri and nearby Poonch district. Medical facilities are also expected to improve for the locals, who currently go to Srinagar or Jammu. A local resident said the people of Rajouri are very poor and if the medical college gets completed then it would be a “big relief” for them.
