Pakistan releases 30 Indian prisoners ahead of Independence Day

Attari-Wagah Border (Punjab), Aug 13 (ANI): As a humanitarian gesture ahead of Independence Day, Pakistan released 30 Indian prisoners, including 26 fishermen at Attari-Wagah Border on Monday. Among them, Indian National Gajanand Sharma was released after he spent 36 years in Central Jail Lahore. Sahdev Sharma, a Punjab based activist said, "This is a gift for our entire nation from the central govt on Independence Day". Sahdev Sharma said that it was possible with the efforts of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
