PM Modi offers prayers at Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala), Jan 16 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday. Prime Minister Modi was accompanied by Kerala Governor Palanisamy Sathasivam for his holy visit. However his visit to the temple was not free of controversy. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor claimed that he and other local leaders were not allowed to enter the temple along with PM Modi, saying that the Prime Minister’s had “cut us from the list”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier visited Kerala’s Kollam as Lok Sabha elections are nearby. PM Modi even met with Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Governor Palanisamy Sathasivam. He inaugurated the Kollam bypass on NH-66. This is the third official visit of PM Modi to Kollam.
