Polling adjourns in Ramgarh due to BSP candidate Lakshman Singh’s death

Ramgarh (Rajasthan), Nov 29 (ANI): Alwar District Magistrate Prakash Rajpurohit on Thursday said that polling in Rampur has been adjourned after Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Lakshman Singh’s death due to cardiac arrest. Rajpurohit also informed that the State Election Commission is finalising the new date. He said, “EC will give seven days time to concerned party for nomination filing of new candidate and then announce fresh polling dates. The same procedure will be followed in this case. Polling has been adjourned and EC is finalising the new date.”
