Postpaid mobile services resume in Srinagar, locals hail decision

Srinagar, Oct 14 (ANI): Postpaid mobile services have finally been restored in Srinagar on October 14. Locals can now easily connect with the near and dear ones. The decision to resume the services was taken after reviewing the situation in the Valley as per told by Principal Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Rohit Kansal. One of the locals said, “We had faced problems in these 70 days. We were not able to connect with our brothers who live far away from us. We were incomplete without the phones.” Other local said, “We are really happy that mobile services have finally resumed as we were not able to connect with our loved ones.” All network and landline connections were suspended across Jammu and Kashmir on August 05 after abrogation of Article 370.
