President Kovind launches various welfare schemes for upliftment of weaker sections

Jaipur (Rajasthan), May 15 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind recently launched three welfare schemes for the benefit of weaker sections of the society in a programme organised at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur. Along with launching the welfare schemes, President Kovind also distributed loan cheques worth Rs. 50000 to five beneficiaries each of Bhairon Singh Shekhawat Swarojgar Antyodaya Yojana and Sundar Singh Bhandari EBC Swarojgar Loan Yojana. The beneficiaries were also felicitated with certificates. He also gave away interest and loan waiver certificates to the beneficiaries who took loan for self employment in year 1980-81 and beyond. On this occasion Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said that the state government is running several schemes for the upliftment of the deprived section of the society. These schemes are proving beneficial in connecting weaker section with the main stream.
